1. First and main step is buy the wireless router. My tips buy 802.11n standard because its new and support all old standard and Buy two antina router because its wireless range more than single antena router.
2. Connect physically modem to wireless router port by Ethernet cable on wan port. For configuring your router you have to at least on computer by Ethernet cable after configuring you can remove cable.
3. Find default ip address of your router. When you buy router company also give ip address also you find ip address on the internet with the company name of router. Mostly default ip adrees 192.162.0.1 or 192.168.2.1. Type ip address in your browser if you have installation disc so run auto play
4. Give valid username and password its give on router documentations
Mostly default user name is admin and password is also admin or password
If you forget password ever so on router back side a reset switch press 10 to 20 second
5. When you login on router select wifi for setting
6. Give the name of wireless network. Give unique number when you search wifi its show name
7. Select security what type of you need my tips use wpa2-psk its very encrypted. Not easy to crack password
8. When you use passphrase its for security purpose you can make difficult password combination of letters symbols and number.
9. Submit your setting it take few minutes for saving.
Once your router has finished resetting, your wireless network will be enabled.
10. Now change your default username and password
11. If you want to block any specific website so you can block here
